Lightning Lane Changes July 24

Effective July 24, Genie+ will be retired and replaced with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Individual Lightning Lanes will be rebranded Lightning Lane Single Pass.

But that’s not all! With the rebrand comes a preplanning capability!

Any guests staying at Disney Resorts, Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green will be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Lightning Lane Single Pass starting 7 days prior to check-in for the length of trip (up to 14 days) at 7 am Eastern, and make up to 3 Lightning Lane reservations! All other guests will be able to purchase and make reservations up to 3 days in advance.

Holiday Hotel and Ticket Specials

Starting on June 27 guests can save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights from November 24 to December 25, plus, other savings for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights between October 6 to November 21.

Guests can also get free Park Hopper option added to their tickets when they upgrade to a Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a non-discounted 4-day or longer date-based ticket.

Disney’s Jollywood Nights returns to Hollywood Studios

This is a 5-hour limited capacity, special ticket event from 7:30 pm – 12:30 pm select nights in November and December. Tickets go on sale July 10.

• November 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
• December 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom

This is a 5-hour limited capacity, special ticket event from 7:30 pm – 12:30 pm select nights in November and December. Guests will get complimentary cookies and hot cocoa throughout the event. Tickets go on sale July 10.

• November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
• December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

Festival of the Holidays will run November 29 – December 30. Festive holiday kitchens will be available throughout the park, and the Candlelight Processional will return for evening shows narrated by celebrities.

Tiana’s Bayou Bash Opens June 28

We’re almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Bash, the reimagining of Splash Mountain, officially opens on June 28! Guests will have two ways to join the queue:

1. Virtual Queue: Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.
2. Genie+: Tiana’s Bayou Bash will be available for Lightning Lane with the purchase of Genie+.

Halloween Parties Return

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be returning select dates August 9 – October 31, 2024. Join Mickey and friends at this specially ticketed event that includes trick-or-treating, unique characters and entertainment, and shorter ride lines including Tiana’s Bayou Adventure that is on the list of available rides!

Summer Ticket Offers Now Available

WDW Resort in Florida has announced two new ticket offers for this summer:

• 4 Day, 4 Park Magic Ticket: The 4-Park Magic Ticket includes one admission to each of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks—Magic Kingdom park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios—for a total of 4 admissions, on 4 separate days (must use within 7 days). Limit one admission per theme park, one theme park per day. The 4 Park Magic Ticket starts from $99 per day, plus tax (total price starting from $396 plus tax).
• 3 Day, 3 Park Ticket: Valid for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park only—starting from $89 per day, plus tax (total price starting from $267 plus tax). Limit one admission per theme park, one theme park per day—for a total of 3 admissions, on 3 separate days (must use within 5 days).

This offer is good for ticket start dates April 2 through September 22, 2024 and can be purchased as individual tickets or can be added on to non-discounted hotel rooms.

The Walls Are Coming Down at EPCOT

Have you been to EPCOT over the last several years? The main entrance has been a maze of walls as the park has been transforming…but there is an end in site. The final walls are coming down June 10!

• CommuniCore Hall will be home to the iconic EPCOT festivals and other celebrations, it’ll also be a perfect cool indoor space year-round for guests and their families to recharge.
• CommuniCore Hall will also be the home of the new Mickey and Friends meet and greet!
• CommuniCore Plaza stage will host an original stage show, “¡Celebración Encanto!”, an Encanto sing along, several times throughout the day. June 10 – Sept. 6.

A Drone Show for Summer

Look to the sky above the West Side of Disney Springs this summer! “Disney Dreams That Soar” drone show will run nightly from May 24 through Sept. 2.

New Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

The all-new cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness are now accepting guest reservations! Disney Vacation Club Members can make reservations for travel starting July 1, and all other guests can start their stays September 27, 2024 and beyond.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness has some of the most unique Disney World offerings including the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show, Tri-Circle D Ranch home to over 90 horses, outdoor recreational activities including kayaking, and Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-Along.
